Graduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence Strategy for Human Resource Professionals

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Strategy for Human Resource (HR) Professionals Certificate goes beyond AI literacy. It offers an immersive, executive-level learning experience in which faculty and participants co-create to cultivate diagnostic and generative capabilities towards designing an AI strategy. Courses

Participants complete three executive graduate level courses (9 credit hours) in six months that integrate theory, practice, and real world application. Learning is experiential, reflective, reflexive, and immediately applicable to participants’ organizational contexts.

HRD 6305: Organization Development and Change

  • Discuss OD’s history
  • Evaluate structured, diagnostic approaches to change
  • Discuss relevance and application per organizational issue and context

HRD 6359: Trends in Organization Development

  • Discuss complexity science
  • Explore contemporary and generative change theories
  • Sense and interpret narratives and patterns in organizations.
  • Apply just-in-time reframing skills
  • Strengthen inquiry, reflection, and reflexive skills
  • Develop a distinct change leadership mindset

HRD 6397: Special Topics in HRD/Artificial Intelligence Literacy & Strategy

  • Analyze AI trends and issues at the organizational and individual levels
  • Strengthen awareness on the use of AI in the employee life cycle
  • Co-assess AI’s maturity
  • Co-draft an AI strategy
