The Change Leadership Certificate goes beyond traditional change management. It offers an immersive, executive-level learning experience in which faculty and participants co-create to reframe mindsets and cultivate the diagnostic and generative capabilities required to interpret complex challenges and drive meaningful, sustainable change. This graduate certificate is designed for those who want to think differently about change, lead with greater clarity in uncertainty, and create conditions for lasting organizational effectiveness.

Courses
Participants complete three executive graduate‑level courses (9 credit hours) that integrate theory, practice, and real‑world application. Learning is experiential, reflective, reflexive, and immediately applicable to participants’ organizational contexts.
HRD 6305: Organization Development and Change

- Evaluate structured, diagnostic approaches to change
- Discuss relevance and application per organizational issue and context
HRD 6359: Trends in Organization Development
- Discuss complexity science
- Explore contemporary and generative change theories
- Sense and interpret narratives and patterns in organizations.
- Apply just-in-time reframing skills
- Strengthen inquiry, reflection, and reflexive skills
- Develop a distinct change leadership mindset
HRD 6355: Designing Organization Development Interventions
- Critique organizational effectiveness

Admission
Students are admitted on a rolling basis. In addition to submitting application, applicants must meet the following requirement:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
